<p>The HPE Virtual Intranet Access (VIA) client is a secure VPN service designed to provide corporate connectivity to users in various locations. Whether working from home, temporary sites, or on the go, VIA ensures a secure connection to the corporate data center. VIA is fully Wi-Fi-aware and seamlessly establishes a VPN-on-demand connection when accessed from non-corporate networks such as home WLAN, 4G/LTE, 3G, or public Wi-Fi networks.</p>
<p>One of the key advantages of VIA is its user-friendly approach to connectivity and authentication. With no complicated logins required, VIA transparently handles the process, providing a hassle-free experience for users.</p>
<p>VIA client software also offers flexibility in terms of network access. It leverages role-based and stateful firewall policies for both local and remote network access, ensuring a consistent end-user experience regardless of location. Additionally, it can be configured to allow separate access roles and policies on the same end point based on user login location.</p>

  <li>Offers support for two-factor authentication (2FA) using one-time passwords (OTP) with RADIUS</li>
  <li>Provides support for personal identification verification (PIV) smart card authentication</li>

  <li>Supported on HPE Aruba Networking Controllers or Gateways running AOS 6.5 and higher or 8.0 and higher</li>
  <li>Requires VPN subscription to be installed on the Controller or Gateway</li>
  <li>Supported on iOS 12.0 and later releases</li>
